The Aletai meteorite is one of the largest and most famous meteorites on Earth. Discovered in the Xinjiang region of northwestern China in 1898, it is highly prized for its scientific value and striking internal crystalline patterns. These slabs are coated in resin to keep them from rusting. This material must be sealed once finished in order to resist rusting which is very common in meteorites. All gray streaks are mineralizations and must be avoided, especially around the edge/profile of your custom artwork.
These slabs are priced at $1 per gram which is extremely low.
