Maritime/Naval Fordite Scales 5”x2”x3/8”

Fordite is layers of paint that are a byproduct of the painting process of cars/boats/trucks/etc. Fordite is created by overspray that builds up over an extended period of time that is finally broken off and gotten rid of as waste normally. Maritime/Naval Fordite comes from painting in the shipyards and is very rare. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind and no 2 pieces are identical.

Due to the nature of Fordite, these scales may require CA glue fill where the resin couldn’t reach during the casting process. These particular pieces should be thinned out/milled from the back to keep the pattern on the top/front of the scale.
